Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help websites remember you. This Cookie Policy explains how Betrothy uses them and how you can control them.
1. The cookies we use
We use a small number of cookies, grouped by purpose:
- Strictly necessary. Keep you signed in and protect your session. Without these the Service cannot function. Example:
be_token. - Functional. Remember preferences like the last tab you used or whether you dismissed a notice.
- Analytics. Help us understand how people use the Service so we can make it better. We aggregate this data; it does not identify you personally.
2. Third-party cookies
Some pages may load content or tools from third parties (for example, embedded videos, our payment provider Stripe during registry checkout, or analytics tools). Those parties may set their own cookies, which are used to provide the feature and to help prevent fraud, and which are governed by their own policies.
3. Your consent and how to change it
Strictly necessary cookies always run because the Service can't work without them. Analytics cookies run only if you choose “Accept all” in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie button in the bottom-left corner of any page, where “Reject non-essential” is offered as prominently as “Accept all.”
We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, we treat that as opting out of non-essential cookies automatically.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies from their settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Service (like signing in) won't work.
5. Changes to this policy
As we add features, the set of cookies we use may change. We'll keep this page up to date.
